The Racor Spin-On Filter Series features a variety of compact-sized filter assemblies designed to fit the most cramped engine compartments. All models come standard with 1/4"-18 NPTF (SAE J476) inlet/outlet fuel ports, a positive seal drain, and a unitized mounting bracket. All use the spin-on, high capacity, Aquabloc II® replaceable filter elements, which separate water, remove solid contamination, and can be fit with 2, 10, and 30 micron filtration. Filtration needs should be based on application, fuel quality, operating climates and maintenance schedules.

Turbine Series filters protect precision engine components from dirt, rust, algae, asphaltines, varnishes, and especially water, which is prevalent in engine fuels. They remove contaminants from fuel using the following legendary three stage process:
Stage 1 - Separation
As fuel enters the assembly, it moves through the centrifuge and spins off large solids and water droplets, which are heavier than fuel, and fall to the bottom of the collection bowl.
Stage 2 - Coalescing
Small water droplets bead-up on the surface of the conical baffle and cartridge filter. When heavy enough, they too fall to the bottom of the collection bowl.
Stage 3 - Filtration
Proprietary Aquabloc® II cartridge filters repel water and remove contaminants from fuel down to 2 micron (nominal). Aquabloc® II cartridge filters are waterproof and effective longer than water absorbing filters.

Environmental concerns and legislation to control crankcase emissions have increased significantly. To further reduce the total emissions of engines, in some applications it is becoming necessary to close the crankcase breather system, routing these gases back into the air intake system.
Crankcase blow-by is produced when combustion gases under high pressure are blown passed the piston rings into the crankcase. As these blow-by gases pass though the crankcase, they become contaminated. Racor’s Crankcase Ventilation System removes these contaminants and the exhaust can then be vented to the atmosphere without harm.
For applications requiring more stringent emissions requirements, a closed crankcase filter is recommended. In this application, the exhaust from the crankcase filter is routed to the inlet side of the turbo. A regulator in the crankcase filter controls the vacuum in the crankcase to ensure proper operation.
In closed environments like generator sets and marine engine rooms, damage from oil mist created by the blow-by gasses to surrounding equipment, such as radiators, electronic control panels, and other engine components, can cause hazardous conditions, down time, and expensive maintenance. It is imperative that oil mist be removed from the crankcase emissions prior to introduction into the engine air intake in closed breather systems.
Racor has expanded its filter vessel product line for refineries, pipelines, bulk storage terminals and airport refuelling equipment. Vessels are designed and manufactured to ASME and API/IP qualifications.

A refrigerated dryer is typically selected to achieve its design performance at the user’s most extreme working conditions. They can be used at low pressures as well as high pressures and use no processed compressed air during the air treatment. Parker refrigerated air dryers are energy efficient without sacrificing the quality of the air provided.
The Parker domnick hunter BAM Breathing Air Purifiers consist of six purification stages mounted on a portable skid for high-capacity multiple personnel breathing air applications. At the inlet, a first stage water separator removes bulk water, followed immediately by a second stage high efficiency coalescing filter to reduce oil and water content and a third stage activated carbon filter to remove oil vapour and odours. The fourth stage adsorption dryer, reduces the water vapour content of the compressed air (to -40°C pdp) and CO2, NO and NO2 levels to below the legal permissible limits. Downstream of the adsorption dryer, a catalyst converts carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide, again, to below the legal limits. A final dust filter captures any particulates carried over from the adsorption materials.
Parker Balston Membrane HFX Series Industrial Nitrogen Generators will produce 95 to 99% pure, commercially sterile nitrogen from a standard compressed air supply at dew points to -58°F (-50°C). All Balston membrane nitrogen generators include a 0.01 micron membrane filter which ensures the nitrogen is completely free of suspended impurities. For applications requiring monitoring and controlling, an oxygen monitor which offers LED readouts and remote alarm or chart recorder capabilities can be included. An audible alarm signals high or low oxygen concentrations (determined by the application). The oxygen monitor is supplied with alarm relay outputs which may be used to signal a remote alarm, open a backup supply or the process stream, or close the process flow.
FBO filter assemblies are designed to meet the toughest industrial refuelling conditions while providing easy cartridge change outs. The FBO assemblies can be used for a variety of applications including mobile refuelers, refuelling cabinets, diesel fuel dispensing pumps and primary fuel filter/water separators for large diesel engines.
The assembly features a locking ring collar, which attaches the filter housing to the aluminium die-cast filter head with four bolts. The locking ring collar allows a single person to easily hand-loosen the four collar bolts, rotate, and lower the bowl assembly for element change outs. With new element installed, simply raise the bowl, rotate into position, and hand tighten evenly to complete the maintenance.
Three different cartridge types are available in 4 different micron ratings. Several FBO models are available including basic single units, pre-configured units, duplex units and heavy-duty standing units. FBO assemblies support a wide range of flow rates from 20 to 110 gpm depending on the model; type of element installed, and fuel type being filtered. FBO assemblies are also perfect for bio fuel applications because of their ease of service, rugged construction, and optional electric heater.

Development work carried out by the CMC engineers, in conjunction with Exxon Mobil Aviation, highlighted the need for an alternative test method to determine the levels of dispersed contamination in Jet fuel. 5 years of field testing and development of the already established and successful icountLCM20 Hydraulic Laser Particle Counter saw the introduction of the Parker icountACM20 with enhanced software providing the user with a better understanding of the contamination present in a sample. As the benchmark particle counter for use in measuring the levels of Contamination in fuels, the icountACM20, as per the UK's Energy Institute Test Method IP564, has now been included in the DEFSTAN 91-91 Issue 6 Jet Fuel Specification as a report only test alongside the current Gravimetric test method (IP423 or ASTM D5452) and Clear & Bright Visual test method
Keeping a specific dew point is the requirement for a trouble free plant operation. The mobile dew point measuring instrument DP 300 is the ideal service instrument in a handy case. It measures relative humidity, temperature, and the dew point up to 50 bar, easy, fast, without an annoying cable. With the PC software the measured data can be recorded in an Excel file and further parameters can be selected: ppm, g/kg, mg/m3, atmospheric dew point.

The need for an economical, medium pressure range filter with excellent fatigue pressure ratings has been met. Parker's CN Series filters are the common factor for a long list of applications requiring economical filtration. Prior to the availability of the CN Series filter, many applications were restricted by limitations of a spin-on can, or forced into the higher cost range of high pressure filters.

New Parker 40SS Series High-Pressure Stainless Steel Filters provide a cost-effective solution for higher flow applications. Balston High Flow Rate Natural Gas Coalescing Filters offer exceptionally high efficiency coalescing filtration of compressed gas at high flow rates. Natural gas coalescing filters are specifically designed to remove suspended liquids and dirt from pipeline natural gas, the housings are ASME Code Stamped up to 1440 psig. Equipped with Balston Disposable Filter Cartridges, these natural gas filters are rated at 93% retention of 0.01 micron.
